The Federal Government will meet the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, today on the ongoing strike embarked on by university lecturers over the non- implementation of the 2009 FG/ASUU agreement, which has been on for weeks.

TBS to air Season 11 of 'American Dad'

ATLANTA, July 16 (UPI) -- Season 11 of Twentieth Century Fox Television's animated comedy show "American Dad" is to begin airing on TBS late next year.

The series will begin its 10th season on the Fox television network this fall.

TBS said it has ordered 15 episodes for its 11th season and its sister station Adult Swim will then present encores of each installment after their initial airings on TBS.

ASUU STRIKE: Lecturers walk out of meeting with lawmakers, ministers

Efforts to resolve the ongoing indefinite strike by university lecturers worsened on Tuesday as the lecturers’ union leaders walked out on lawmakers trying to intervene in the crisis.

The lecturers have been on strike for over one week over government’s failure to implement previous agreements with it

ASUP Strike Called Off

ASUP The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic, ASUP has called off their three months old industrial action embarked upon following disagreements with the authorities in the education ministry.

The strike was called off after the government reached certain agreements with the leaders of the relevant unions, as agreed by all stakeholders.

Lets hope that the case with ASUU will also be resolved in the interest of the country
