Uniport Shut Down Indefinitely

Due to the incident which took place on Friday  last week at the University of Port Harcourt Nigeria, The Students embarked on riot following the incident and this had led to indefinite shutting down of the school. The School have asked all students who are in the hostel to evacuate following the riot which started today... 

The protest shows that the students are not happy about the way their fellow students were killed. Some say that they were killed unjustly because no body could provide concrete evidence regarding the robbery case

charged on them. the rioting which lead to so many destruction including burning of buildings and cars has also kept student in an unrest situation. We pray that it does not go beyond what we have seen today
