1. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
Brangelina continued to captivate in 2013, as they traveled the world with their six kids. In May, Jolie revealed she had undergone a preventive double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery after learning she was at high risk for breast cancer -- a move her fiance called "heroic" and empowering. "I'm so proud of her," he told Us. "She's a badass." Jolie returned the compliment in November while accepting her Governors Award, calling Pitt her "love" and praising his "support and guidance."
2. Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine
The Maroon 5 rocker and the Victoria's Secret Angel actually split up for a brief period earlier this year, during which time Levine started dating model Nina Agdal. By July, however -- just a month after he was spotted vacationing with Agdal -- he and Prinsloo were back together and engaged to marry. (Agdal found out about the reconciliation in a text message.) "She's the greatest ever," the Voice coach told Ellen DeGeneres of his fiancee in December.
3. Jay Z and Beyonce Knowles
Bey and Jay continued their superstar reign this year, both as a couple and as individual artists. The rapper released his much-anticipated Magna Carta album in July, featuring a duet with his wife of five years, "Part II (On the Run)." She followed that with a surprise album, Beyonce, released to iTunes on Dec. 13, and also made headlines for her incredible performance at the Super Bowl, featuring a reunion with her Destiny's Child bandmates.) Blue Ivy is one lucky kid.
4 Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck
After years of walking the red carpet separately, Affleck and Garner made a rare joint appearance at the Jan. 13 Golden Globes, where the Argo star picked up the Best Director and Best Picture trophies. The spouses of seven years (who have three kids) showed their love for each other all throughout awards season, with Affleck memorably calling their marriage "the best work there is" at the Oscars. "She is by leaps and bounds the most important person to me in that respect," he said in December.
5. Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston
Engaged since August 2012, the Wanderlust costars stayed strong in 2013, despite rumors of trouble in paradise. Early this spring, the two were spotted all over town looking for antique furniture for their new home, and in August, they took a romantic trip to Cabo San Lucas together. "We already feel married," the former Friends actress told the Associated Press of their wedding plans. "My life is so fantastic," she added in an interview with Parade. "I'm so happy."
6.Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
Thanks to his new album, The 20/20 Experience, Timberlake had plenty of opportunities to gush about his wife in 2013. "Every once in a while I can catch a glimpse of her when she doesn't see me looking," he told Ellen DeGeneres of Biel, whom he married in 2012. "And I have this moment where I'm like, 'If you never make a good decision...if you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life, you made one really good decision.'"
7. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian
It was a rare day in 2013 when Kimye wasn't making headlines. The couple dominated literally from day one, announcing their baby news just before the new year. Kardashian's pregnancy was documented in countless photographs and on her family's reality show, right up until the moment she gave birth five weeks early in June. The unveiling of North's first photo was a major event -- as was the couple's engagement on Oct. 21. "Our love story's a love story for the ages," West has said.
8. Kate Middleton and Prince William
Thanks to Middleton's pregnancy, and the subsequent birth of baby Prince George in July, interest in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge soared to levels not seen since their April 2011 wedding. Royal baby mania took over the world, as people followed the couple's every move, from George's first photo op to his October christening. No other baby -- except maybe North West -- inspired such fascination and fandom in 2013.
9. Katy Perry and John Mayer
After a brief separation earlier this year, the "Roar" songstress and the "Paper Doll" singer rekindled their hot romance. They "realize they must be together," a pal said of the couple, who released a sweet duet, "Who You Love," in August. In fact, sources say the pair may be headed for marriage. "He's just a fantastic partner," Perry gushed of her boyfriend in Marie Claire. "It's a rad, mature relationship."
10. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher
Though the former That '70s Show costars first stepped out together in the spring of 2012, their romance was hotter than ever in 2013. Engagement rumors followed them all year, as Kunis was spotted with a new gold band on her ring finger, and Kutcher finalized his divorce from ex-wife Demi Moore. At Kunis' brother's wedding in December, the two "seemed very comfortable together," a source told Us Weekly. "They seemed to be having a lot of fun."
