Reports to: Local IT Team supervisor

Responsibilities:

Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database
Develop Oracle SQL and Unix Shell Scripts to Automate Functions and Processes
Establish and implement best practices for maintenance, monitoring, growth management, and contention resolution
Utilize Oracle DataGuard and Export/Import Datapump applications and Oracle Real Application Clusters
Establish Best Practices for maintenance, monitoring, growth management, contention resolution, and defragging
Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes
Resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues
Install and maintain payement applications and secure its operation
Helping with tuning / maintenance of RAC and other types of databases
Assist with patch application
Administers and maintain Linux platform

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Management, or a related field
3-4 years of experience with Oracle 10G/11g DBA in a RAC environment
Strong hand on experience on Linux platforms
Payment experience is a plus
Experience Oracle RAC and RHEL
