Photo scene from the collapsed church building yesterday in Edo State

Yesterday a church building collapsed, although the building was said to be abandoned by the church members who were said to have relocated to a bigger and better place. The one-storey building belongs to Christ Chosen Church of God.  The building, which had been vacated recently by the church following its relocation to a bigger site, was being demolished by 8 workers when it caved in and fell on them. Three people have been confirmed dead while five were rescued from under the rubble.
