Jega: Presidential Election Results will be Announced 48 hours After

Prof. Attahiru Jega INEC Chairman says earlier today that the results from tomorrow's general presidential election will be announced 48 hours after the elections have been concluded.

This means that you should be expecting to hear the results of the winner on Monday March 30. He said this during a joint press briefing with the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig. Gen. Johnson Olawumi in Abuja today March 27th.
“For the 2015 elections, we should be able to declare results nationally within 48 hours. Our aim is to im‎prove upon our performance in 2011,” he said
