For those
of you who used P.N. Okeke Physics textbooks in secondary school? Pictured above
is the author! He was awarded the first PhD of UNN on November 25th, 1975, and
awarded Professor
Emeritus of UNN on January 24th, 2015, in UNN. If you used
his book to make a good grade in Physics, you can say congrats to him. It was
P.N. Okeke who took Nigeria to the world scene by attracting the on-going
construction of a unique giant radio telescope, first ever in West Africa. P.N.
Okeke is the first President of African Astronomical Society.
