D’Banj Enjoys Holidays in Amsterdam While Awaiting Court Summons over Unpaid Bills

Recently there have being rumours hovering around about a Nigerian popular musician and entertainer D’Banj, the said musician has been owing severing debts and has been sued.

Here are the issues he is said to be involved in

Last year, a technology company, MindHub Technologies headed by Henry Ojogho claimed he is owing the company N15 million. According to MindHub, D’Banj, also through his company, DKM Media Limited, obtained a loan of over N60 million from them in January 2013, and has not paid back the said sum despite signing an undertaking to do so.

His PR team however debunked the rumours towards the end of last year but it looks like the allegations have resurfaced.

According to Encomium Weekly, D’Banj is so cash strapped that he cannot pay his staff and some of them have quit.

According to  NET NG, there are court summons pasted on D’Banj’s Lekki house gate (since December 17) for a court case that is supposed to be held on Monday, January 26.

Mean while, D’Banj has been silent and he is currently enjoying holidays in Amsterdam while also planning a mega year this year to mark his 10th anniversary in the music industry.
